Decepcionante relación calidad-precio
Pequeño complejo hotelero con encanto ubicado cerca de puntos de interés en Dambulla. Disponen de restaurante propio con buena oferta de platos y adaptabilidad ya que somos veganos y no tuvimos problemas para ello.
Esperábamos más. La zona se veía descuidada con una piscina que no invitaba al baño. El personal se mostró poco disponible y desinteresado ya que tuvimos un problema con la iluminación de la habitación y tuvimos que comentarlo en varias ocasiones hasta que consideraron valorar el problema y solventarlo.

Experiencia decepcionante
Entorno bonito y el personal muy amable. Cama muy cómoda.
Mantenimiento de las villas y espacios comunes bastante deficiente. Se iba la luz (y con ello el aire acondicionado) y el agua caliente con frecuencia, teniendo que estar una de las veces casi una hora fuera de la habitación mientras lo arreglaban. También nos encontramos una colonia de hormigas enorme en una de las habitaciones. El desayuno fue regular y además no era buffet a pesar que el espacio estaba preparado para ello. Relación calidad-precio decepcionante para SriLanka. El último día comentamos con el equipo los problemas que habíamos tenido pero simplemente nos dieron una hoja para que pusiéramos una queja, sin más explicación.

What was the highlight of Liyya Water Villas
It was very comfortable and relaxing, and the staff were fantastic.
The water villas at Liyya were fantastic. They were really spacious with a big bathroom with really comfortable beds and luxurious linen, we slept really well! The staff were very accommodating and looked after us brilliantly, allowing us early check in after a long flight from London and a 3 hour drive from Colombo. The dining room overlooked the lake which was lovely.
The communal facilities were not as well looked after as the villas which was a shame. We were disappointed not to have somewhere to relax outside of our villa/the dining room in the evenings, the hotel could benefit from a bar/lounge area. I would suggest that the plastic above the shower is replaced with glass, as when it rains it’s extremely loud especially over night.

A beautiful stay and we would return.
Excellent location with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Meals were well priced and tasty. Chalet was luxurious and we would definitely come again.
We didn’t mind this, even in a Tuk Tuk, but it’s a bit of a trek down the windy and bumpy lane which some patrons may find challenging.
